About Diesel Parts & Equipment

Diesel Parts & Equipment (DP), represents the diesel fuel injection specialist product division within the Motus Aftermarket Parts Group, selling guaranteed quality parts at competitive prices to both end-consumers in the form of complete assemblies, i.e. injectors and pumps, or repair parts to its preferred customer base of diesel fuel injection specialist workshops.

The DP brand operates from the MAP RDC locations, namely, Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town.

Although diesel is declining in the passenger car segment, this is primarily due to petrol applications now being on even footing when considering fuel economy.
The initial surge from petrol to diesel was primarily driven by the historic superiority of diesel ICE engine when looking at fuel economy, however in time technological advances in turbochargers and downsizing engines for petrol application have made the fuel economy of both petrol and diesel engines similar.

This however does in no way mean that the diesel ICE has lost its place in the automotive market. Any consumer who prefers the torque experience provided by diesel, still has a myriad of choices within the passenger car space to choose from, as well as the super popular LCV segment that is colloquially know as bakkies in South Africa. Over and above the traditional automotive market, there is also still a place for the energy co-efficient afforded by diesel engines in the heavy-duty markets - utilised by industries such as logistics, off-highway (mining, construction, agriculture), marine and power generation.

Diesel Parts & Equipment is strategically positioned as a leading supplier of Original Equipment products, enabling the Group to support OE manufacturers such as Toyota, TATA and JCB with selected warranty programs through the relevant OE supplier brand agency networks.
While we are the official distributors of EOS brands: BOSCH, DENSO, Delphi Technologies, Stanadyne, VDO, YANMAR and ZEXEL in Southern Africa, we also stock a wide range of other renowned brands, i.e. SPACO, LUCAS Diesel, as well as boasting our own in-house brand Integrated Diesel.

The division offers the diesel sectors, qualified expertise backed by electronic catalogues and is supported by a value-adding business franchise under the ADCO banner, and backed by a qualified technical staff compliment, including the only authorised Hartridge auditors in Southern Africa.
We also sell and support OE testing equipment such as Hartridge, DENSO, BOSCH and CarbonZapp.
Through training of the authorised agencies, the group offers diesel fuel injection specialist the opportunity to become competent in all aspects of today’s fuel injection systems, from diagnosis to repair thereof.
